Who qualifies

The catch
Acorns charges a flat monthly subscription fee on top of your investments — $3/month for the base Bronze plan, $6/month for Silver, $12/month for Gold — regardless of your account balance. It's not a one-time trial: the fee starts as soon as you're funded and keeps billing until you cancel. On a small balance, that fee is a meaningful percentage of what you've invested.
